Tibors de Sarenom
by Maryann Corbett

o
ibors de Sarenom was the older sister of Raimbault d’Aurenga, a prominent troubadour. Very little of her work survives: one stanza of a canso, with a short vida (life) and razo (explanation). She is mentioned in an anonymous ballad as the judge of a game of poetry. Her life, like the lives of most of the women troubadours, is not well documented. For more information about her and other trobairitz, see the entry for the Countess of Dia.

Dates given are approximate.
